LOL Ah, the Do it Myself phase! Still going strong on that one here!
While I love her drive towards independence, I can definitely say, there are a lot of times I just wish she would let me do the thing so we can get on with whatever we are doing...especially when it's something I know she can't do herself.
Maybe you should have recorded that statement - you could replay it 10 years from now when cleaning the pool no longer seems like fun ;)
That moment came a short while after the picture wast taken. Apparently, her muscles weren't that strong.
